Kiana Crummy
In September, I moved to Halifax to start as a full-time Master of Public Relations student at Mount Saint Vincent University. I’m focused on absorbing as much as I can about this everchanging industry as I find the world of Public Relations captivating and complex.
I’ve previously had the opportunity to intern in Marketing at TD Bank, before starting full time on the TD Auto Finance Communications team after my graduation. My past work experience has taught me the importance of applying a strategic approach to strengthen deliverables and their impact. I had the chance to create and execute a strategic media plan to manage TDAF’s marketing and advertisements, and create the official TD Auto Finance (Canada) LinkedIn page.
As a previous member of the IABC, I’ve attended multiple conferences to interact with new ideas and individuals in the industry. I thrive on connecting with like-minded people and am so excited to be the MPR student representative for the Nova Scotia board of the CPRS! I think the experience is an incredible opportunity for real world application of my current studies, and contextualization of my past experiences
